David Andrade is a Marketing Intelligence Manager on the Marketing Solutions – Business Intelligence team at Merkle, Inc.

David found his niche in business intelligence (BI) consulting after leading a number of BI engagements with clients across the LS (Life Sciences), IWM (Insurance and Wealth Management), and TM&E (Travel, Media and Entertainment) verticals. He is experienced in both waterfall and agile methodologies, able to lead and deliver on BI engagements from discovery through deployment. David loves working on new product development, demo work, and branding initiatives where he is able to tap into his creative side. During his time at Merkle, David has developed a keen interest in data visualization through Tableau and helps maintain Merkle’s Tableau capability as a Tableau Trainer, Tableau Admin, and as part of the Tableau User Group and Tableau Helpdesk. David is Merkle Digital Professional (MDP) certified as of October 2015 and holds 3 years of professional digital marketing experience.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Asian Studies Concentration from the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA) and a Masters of Business Administration in Business Analytics from Bentley University – The McCallum Graduate School of Business (Waltham, MA).

During his 2 year full-time MBA, David focused on expanding his business analytics skills and gained invaluable experience through product marketing and analytics internships at B2B tech and Pharma companies, respectively, as well as a 9 month consulting project at a major multinational financial services corporation.

Prior to his MBA, he worked for 2 years in investment management, sales, and customer service at major brokerages in the greater Boston area, where he specialized in developing and executing long-term financial plans for his clients through market research and a full-service brokerage line of products.
